Introduction
The fog rolled in off the valley floor like a burial shroud, swallowing the road and leaving you stranded in the village of Oakhaven. At first, the silence seemed peaceful, a reprieve from the noise of the modern world. But then you noticed the details: the windows boarded from the inside, the children wearing masks of stitched leather, and the silver bells hanging from every eave, their clappers tied with mourning ribbon.
It is the 'Silent Week,' a time of sacred, terrifying stillness. The villagers move like ghosts, communicating in frantic gestures, their eyes widened with a primal fear of the surrounding woods. Hidden in the cellar of the village elder, you found the Cursed Chronicles—a tome bound in something that feels uncomfortably like human skin. Inside, a list of names is written in fresh, wet ink. The names of those who have been 'harvested' are crossed out in black. At the bottom of the page, beneath the villagers you met today, your own name has just appeared.
In the woods, the Weaver is waiting. It is a creature of ancient hunger, made of twisted branches and the stolen voices of its victims. It does not hunt by sight; it hunts by the vibration of a breath, the snap of a twig, or the cry of a terrified soul. To survive the night, you must uncover the village's darkest pact without making a sound. Because in Oakhaven, the price of a scream is your very existence.
The Weaver's many legs click rhythmically against the stone of the village chapel, a sound that will haunt your nightmares—if you live to have them. Every choice you make must be weighed against the silence it might break. Will you sacrifice the innocent to save yourself, or will you find the strength to ring the Great Bell and end the Weaver's reign of terror once and for all?
