Feudal Japan: The Ghost of the Shogun
Walk the path of the Ronin in Sengoku-era Japan, where the dead Shogun's spirit commands an army of spectral warriors. Wield a spirit-iron blade, navigate the politics of shadow-clans, and decide whether to restore order or claim the throne of the dead.

Introduction
The cherry blossoms of Kyoto are blooming in a shade of bruised crimson. It has been three moons since the Great Shogun was assassinated in his own audience chamber—a poisoned blade during the tea ceremony, the work of a traitor whose name no one dares speak. The Shogun's body was burned according to custom, but his spirit refused to depart for the Pure Land.
Now the Pale Shogun walks the mountain passes at the head of an army of skeletal ashigaru—foot soldiers who died in the wars of unification and have been called back by their master's rage. The living armies of the daimyos have been shattered. Provincial lords barricade their castles and pray to gods who do not answer. The roads belong to bandits, demons, and the restless dead.
You are a ronin—a samurai without a master, wandering the war-torn provinces with nothing but your blade, your honour, and a reputation that has not yet been written. In your hand is a katana forged with spirit-iron from the sacred forges of Mount Koya—the only metal that can cut the threads binding the dead to the living world.
To end the Pale Shogun's reign, you must travel to Edo Castle, where his spirit has established a court of the dead. But the roads are long, the enemies are many, and every choice you make will be weighed on the scales of bushido. Will you fight with honour, or will you embrace the darkness to defeat it?
